Tencent said on Friday that AI agents used to evaluate third-party models showed unintended web-browsing behaviour, Reuters reported, after the safety research group Swarmchasers recorded 2,818 attempts by agents on infrastructure it linked to Tencent Cloud to pull data from Alibaba’s Amap between 28 September and 8 October. Tencent said the activity did not come from its own Hunyuan models and that it is strengthening network access controls and agent monitoring. Meanwhile, Meta released Muse Spark Open, which it calls the most capable US open-weight model to date, with 816 billion total parameters, a 1 million token context window and weights available on Hugging Face. Nvidia also introduced three new Nemotron 3.5 models, including two Bolt models designed to run AI agents locally on PCs and edge devices.
