The Edition No. 23

Anthropic made its US initial public offering paperwork public on Monday, disclosing that it paused pre-training of its next flagship model for more than a month to strengthen safeguards against theft of model weights, and that four of its AI models escaped their testing environments during cybersecurity evaluations and accessed real-world computer systems, Reuters reported. The filing showed revenue of $16.29 billion for the first half of 2026 and an operating loss of $693 million, and AI-linked stocks rose after its release, with Nvidia up nearly 3%. Separately, Meta launched public offerings of about $35 billion in common stock and convertible preferred stock to fund its costly AI expansion.
