Tencent released Hy4, its latest-generation large language model, adding visual understanding for the first time along with stronger instruction following, long-context comprehension and long-horizon agentic tasks, and said it will publish the model weights and system cards in the coming days. The company kept pricing at about $0.90 per million input tokens and $2.70 per million output tokens. Separately, Google said Gemini, Gemini in Classroom and Google Search will be switched off by default for K-12 student accounts until school administrators turn them on, and schools that block AI entirely will also lose Search, AP and NBC News reported.
